Dear Lefse Masters Competitor,
Thank you for your interest in our Norsk Hostfest Lefse Masters preliminary competition. Here are a few items we would like you to know.
- The competitor must provide recipe with ingredients and preparation instructions.
- Participants will bring in premade homemade lefse for judging, Home of Lefse preliminaries only.
- Competitors will submit two individual rounds of Lefse.
- Presentation plate will be provided.
- Judges will use a “blind” format based on appearance, taste and texture; the decision of the judges is final.
- The winner of the preliminaries will advance to the Semi-finals on September 30, 2017 at Norsk Hostfest in Minot, ND.
