Dear Lefse Masters Competitor,

Thank you for your interest in our Norsk Hostfest Lefse Masters preliminary competition. Here are a few items we would like you to know.  

  1. The competitor must provide recipe with ingredients and preparation instructions.
  2. Participants will bring in premade homemade lefse for judging, Home of Lefse preliminaries only.
  3. Competitors will submit two individual rounds of Lefse.
  4. Presentation plate will be provided.
  5. Judges will use a “blind” format based on appearance, taste and texture; the decision of the judges is final.
  6. The winner of the preliminaries will advance to the Semi-finals on September 28, 2018 at Norsk Hostfest in Minot, ND.
